Get your dance moves ready for all-ages Big Summer Chop & Vibes, hosted by African Chop House in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy!
In West Africa, a chop bar is a roadside bar/restaurant that serves as a meeting place for the community. It brings people together through food and music to exchange information, ideas and connect with each other. African Chop House was inspired by the sounds, smells, and visuals that surrounded us growing up in African home. “Come Chop” is a pidgin expression inviting friends and family to come eat.
Join us for diaspora sounds and delicious food selections curated by African Chop House at Pier 3 Plaza and Central Lawn! Doors open at 6:00 PM and the dance party starts at 7:00 PM. Bring your good vibes and your best moves – RSVP below so we know you’re coming!
Please note that all attendees will have bags checked. This is an all-ages event, but youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only adults 21 and over may purchase alcohol, which must be consumed on site. No outside alcohol or glass bottles will be permitted.
