Visiting The Park

Brooklyn Bridge Park is an 85-acre world-class waterfront park with rolling hills, riverfront promenades, lush gardens, and spectacular city views. Our list of amenities continues to grow as we work each day to revitalize this previously deteriorated industrial space and build a park that allows New Yorkers to rediscover the waterfront.

Park Rules and Regulations

To enhance and provide for the safety, well-being and enjoyment of individuals who use Brooklyn Bridge Park, and to ensure that each park visitor has the opportunity to use and enjoy the park, these Rules and Regulations have been established by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation.

The rules, modeled after many of the existing park rules for New York City and State parks, outline permitted and prohibited uses and activities in Brooklyn Bridge Park. In addition, they set forth the process for submitting permit applications needed to conduct certain uses, activities or events, as well as the criteria for review of such applications.

Below is a consolidated list of park rules most applicable to standard activities. This IS NOT a complete list of rules and regulations. To read the complete rules and regulations, click here.
