BROOKLYN, Dec. 11, 2023 — Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (“Conservancy”) announces the election of Catherine Feldman to the organization’s Board of Directors. The election took place at the Conservancy’s Board Meeting on Monday, December 11.
“We’re very pleased to have Catherine join our Board of Directors” shared Chris Coffey, Conservancy Board Chairman. “Her strong leadership and experience with strategic programming and events at Thrive Capital will be an invaluable asset to the Conservancy as we look ahead to the 2024 season and beyond. We’re thankful to have her expertise and guidance especially as we look to expand our free and low-cost program offerings and make recreational, cultural, fitness, and educational opportunities accessible to all.”
Feldman shared, “Since our family moved to Brooklyn, the Park has been central to our lives, and the backdrop for so many meaningful moments with our family and friends. I’m thrilled to support the Conservancy’s mission of serving the broader community through thoughtful programming and incredible green space.”
ABOUT CATHERINE FELDMAN
Catherine Feldman is the Head of Community at Thrive Capital, a New York City-based venture capital firm. Catherine joined the firm eight years ago, and leads events and strategic programming for Thrive’s founders and executives.
Previously, Catherine was the Director of Incubations at Thrive, where she worked closely with founders to develop ideas and launch new companies. Prior to that, she was the Chief of Staff to the Founder and CEO, and Head of Special Projects at Thrive. Catherine began her career at Morgan Stanley, where she worked on the Technology Investment Banking team. Catherine serves on the board of Summer Search New York, and is a Trustee of the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
Catherine lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Jed, and their two children.
